New Jersey Gets Geeky At Geek Flea 7!
Music, Contests, Toys, Comics, Food & Great Atmosphere To Soak Up At The Free Bi-Annual Event
Kearny, New Jersey (March 31, 2014) – April 5th will bring with it an end to this bitter cold and the return of GEEK FLEA to the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington in Kearny, New Jersey!
This family friendly, FREE event boasts two floors with over 40 vendors selling everything from toys and games to comic books and T shirts that will make your inner child (or actual child) do a happy dance, and amazing artists showing off their latest creations. You’ll also find mouth-watering food and drinks to fuel your dream toy hunt, and groove to live DJs as you wait to see if your raffle ticket will score you free T shirts, toys or even a PS4! Admission, as always, is FREE FOR ALL.
GEEK FLEA is a bi-annual event created by the crew at UNWINNABLE.COM as a way to provide a space for their mega talented friends to showcase their hand made crafts, unload treasures from their attics and interact with other fantastic people who share their love of geek culture. “When we started Geek Flea, we thought it would be a fun little flea market” remarked Stu Horvath, Editor in Chief of Unwinnable.com and Producer of Geek Flea. “I don’t think anyone expected it to go on for four years and seven events, let alone to grow so big and develop such a fantastic community of vendors, artists and customers.”
GEEK FLEA takes place this Saturday, April 5th from 10am to 5pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington – 663 Kearny Avenue in Kearny, New Jersey. See you there!

Source: Tech Crunch
While surfing the interwebs today I came across a link to Tech Crunch with some info on how now you can explore the Tardis in Google Maps. Check the source link above for some of their information on it but if you want to get right to exploring you can just go here. I screen capped some of what you will see once you start exploring. How cool is this! Thoughts? Share em below!
See I had feeling…Check out this story from the website MiceChat. Looks like there are some definite plans for some new Star Wars stuff in Disney Land at least one of which is a Speeder Bike coaster! All I know is there better be some info about WDW getting some Star Wars stuff as well. Disney Land is far too hard for me to get to personally. Ha!
Again using ComingSoon.Net as a source of information and photo’s for D23 another thing spotted on the exhibition floor was some teaser stuff for “Orange Harvest”. Of course most of us know by now that “Blue Harvest” was the production shooting name for Return of the Jedi so the possibility is that this is something Episode 7 related. But based on the other crate you can see that says “Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes” and the tag line “Speculation beyond Imagination” I think this may be a reference to the Disney Imagineers and could be the tease for the new Star Wars themese ride/section of the the Disney Parks which we speculated earlier would have something to do with Tatooine. Of course the busted R2-D2 shape in the side of another crate is a cute touch too. What do you think?
Coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on 9/17/13 with a digital release 1 week earlier on 9/10/13, EW has just released some details on what we can expect to see on the World War Z (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy) pack at least. In addition to the unrated cut of the movie the discs will contain a bunch of bonus content including:
“Origins” — The filmmakers discuss collaborating with renowned actor/producer Brad Pitt to create a zombie film the likes of which have never been seen.
“Looking to Science” — Explore the scientific realities of zombie behavior in nature and learn more about zombies in literature and film.
“Outbreak” — Go on set with Brad Pitt and director Marc Forster for a behind-the-scenes look at the film’s breathtaking first attack in Philadelphia.
“The Journey Begins” — Delve deeper into Gerry’s fight for survival during the dramatic escape in South Korea.
“Behind the Wall” — Explore the epic scene in Jerusalem and discover the incredible logistics of creating the elaborate stunts and crowd sequences.
“Camouflage” — Experience the final confrontation between Gerry and the zombies and discover the phenomenal scope of the film’s production.
Of course before you grab the disc starting today I believe the movie has be re-released as a limited engagement at select Imax theaters for a second go round so be sure to check that out as well
Yahoo has put up a new featurette showing off some of the tech in Elysium. This movie looks better and better!
